Pumpkin spice lattes are popping up at coffee shops, and the breeze is lingering much more than it used to. I’m visiting Spirit Halloween every weekend just to be amongst the immaculate vibes. Fall is right around the corner. I can feel it.

Though I am often Summer’s biggest hater (The heat! The humidity! The bugs! I can go on!), I sometimes miss the feeling of it by the time the next season rolls around. Nothing beats Fall for me (As Richard Gilmore famously said, “I am an Autumn.”), but Summer makes me nostalgic in a different way, and I think all of that can be summed up in the “Miley Stewart Summer” trend.

So, to bid farewell to one season and welcome the next, I want to write about a movie that I hold very close to my heart, 2009’s Hannah Montana: The Movie, and the trend it inspired. In turn, I share a bit about Miley Cyrus’s impact on me — and Disney because I can’t help myself.
